CAT STEVENS DEEP END (1970) PRESSBOOK. Tri-fold in VERY GOOD+ condition (ink notation on front page as pictured). This film by Roman Polanski’s protégé features Cat Stevens’ song “But I Might Die Tonight.” We were excited to discover this early work by Cat, which is actually credited to Cat Stevens and the Can. Needless to say, the song did not chart and the film is hardly noteworthy, other than Jane Asher being in the lead role. Jane of course is Peter Asher’s (Peter & Gordon) younger sister and credited with being Paul McCartney’s early muse (and fiancé before they split amicably) for many songs, and the love interest of all the Beatles as well as many English rockers. She married Gerald Scarfe and they have been together since 1981, how refreshing! We wonder what Jane thinks about her role on this particular film. Measures 12 x 15.
